Exodus Sparks
In 2006 NWP collaborated with Community Arts NorthWest (CAN) on the Sparks project, as part of the Exodus On Stage Festival.
The aim was to develop writers from refugee communities, and provide an opportunity to showcase their work.
With residual funds from the 2006 event, NWP and CAN set up a second phase of Sparks in 2007, culminating in the showing of five pieces of work at Contact in November of that year.
We are now looking at continuing this programme, with a view to further performances within another Exodus On Stage Festival in November 2010.
